The following are excerpts concerning the Department of Linguistics from the Application Forms for the MA / DLit Courses as well as for the Gakushi Nyugaku (BA holders from Japanese Universities to be admitted to the 3rd undergraduate year) distributed on September 3, 2001.

Basic Knowledge of Linguistics and Phonetics at the undergrad. level as well as competence in Linguistic Analysis required.

Notice that a Written Exam is required from this year for the Applicants other than those who finished our Master Course in Linguistics.
